On Demand: Switch Assessment for Power Wheelchair Access
On Demand, Switch Assessment for Power Wheelchair Access Presented by: Michelle Lange, OTR/L, ABDA, ATP/SMS ABSTRACT Many clients requiring a power wheelchair for independent mobility are unable to use any form of proportional control. Non-proportional or digital driving methods use 1-5 switches. Individual mechanical or electrical switches can be combined or obtained in a pre- configured array. This webinar will address how to determine where to place switches and which type(s) to use to optimize driving control. Case studies will be included.
